Comet Parts Exchange Service Program
Comet Will:
1. Expedite delivery of a replacement part to customer (normally within hours of customer notification). The replacement part may be either new or a similar fully-warranted factory reconditioned part (determined solely by COMET).
Email Notification should be used to facilitate speedy response.
2. COMET will invoice CUSTOMER for the full amount of the replacement part (net 30 days) and credit the CUSTOMERupon receipt of the failed component for the amount, less any actual repair costs associated with the failed component. Warranty repair will incur no costs, other than freight.
A written malfunction report will be issued with the final invoice, detailing the component failure mode and probably cause.
Customer Will:
1. Notify COMET of replacement part requirement (preferably by IMMEDIATE EMAIL) and issue a purchase order for the replacement part, along with shipping and billing instructions.
2. Immediately return the failed part to COMET, Freight Prepaid, with a brief statement concerning its malfunction.
